Engagement photoshoot

Project Overview

This project was a bit different than usual for me. I got engaged and saw this as an opportunity for a photoshoot to try out some new camera equipment. I am rarely the subject of my photos, so this was a fun project. I enlisted the help of some friends and family for clothing, makeup, and help with some images. My main job on this shoot was the art direction. I instructed the positioning and lighting for each photo and took the preliminary shots without my fiancé and me in them. Then we took all the pictures we could. These photos were taken on the frozen Lake Minnewanka. After the photoshoot, I edited the images using Lightroom, as well as Capture One, which I switched to due to its usage of more complex layer editing.
